Day 8 (a very belated day 8 at that - sorry). Whilst I was on my mini writing vacation I came across an article on the Bermuda Triangle and it triggered my memory. When Nan and Pop were touring around America, Pop spontaneously chartered a plane to Bermuda. To be honest, a lot of people could not fathom travelling to a place where so many unexplained disasters have occurred; but Pop was different.
He absolutely loved Bermuda and told me many times that I must visit. He said it was beautiful and that the people were extremely welcoming and lovely. The water was crystal clear, the forest met the beach and the sun was always warm and shining; that's how he described it. I'm sure it has changed significantly since then, becoming more populated and commercialised. However, I have vowed to visit Bermuda, no matter how much my brain tells me not too; my heart usually wins these battles.
I don't have any photos that Pop took of Bermuda currently, but here are some off the internet to paint a picture for you. I think the island deserves to be known for more than just disappearing transportation devices.
